Do you want to help Stitch create a beautiful banner made out of granny squares? We will crochet one together during two cozy community evenings ☕ ! On the 8th of May, all of us will create as many granny squares as we can 🧶. Then on the 22nd of May we will bring all our squares together and sew them into one big banner, which we will hang up during our activities🧵 ! 

Since this project is for Stitch, we will provide the yarn (and crochet hooks if you don’t have one) so you don’t need to pay! You also don’t need to sign up to join, but feel free to bring as many people as you can find. More people = more granny squares!

We expect everyone who joins to know how to do at least one basic crochet stitch, this project is not meant to teach you how to crochet. If you do need a bit of help however, we are always there ☺️. 

If you are not available on the 8th of May, but you do want your square to be incorporated into the banner and be a part of stitch forever, you can always make a square yourself! The squares should all be 15x15 cm. As long as it is at Stitch on the 22nd of May it will be added to the banner!
