Stitch Fiber Arts is celebrating its first anniversary! 🎂✨ Exactly one year ago, we officially became part of Scala, and what an incredible journey it has been!

Thank you so much for joining all our activities🙏! We have a lot of fun and we hope you do too! We can’t wait to organize even more fiber arts events, and who knows? Maybe one day, we’ll become an official association👀🧶✨!

From February 14th to 16th, we had our very first Stitch weekend — and what a weekend it was!
After an adventurous bike ride, everyone finally made it to the location. We kicked things off with a delicious dinner, then spent the evening working on our projects, fueled by a magical brews.

Saturday was all about the "Make Your Own Kabouter" workshop. But then... someone stole the cocoa powder! An epic adventure full of puzzles and detective work followed. Once the sneaky thief was caught, we wrapped up the night sipping hot cocoa around the campfire.

On Sunday, it was time to get crafty with some clay stitch marker charms. All the adorable creations went into the oven while we channeled our inner Snow Whites to clean up the place.

It was truly a magical weekend — full of fiber arts, kabouters (they're not the same as gnomes!), campfire vibes, and a whole lot of laughs!

Get ready for some cozy winter fun! Stitch will have activities both during WinTU/er village and Winter University!

Learn to sew your very own Christmas stocking! Visit us on December 11th between 11:30 and 13:00 in Atlas (ground floor) at TU/e. No need to sign up-just drop by and join the fun! More information is available HERE.

🧵Punch Needling @ Winter University🧵
Feeling bored over the holidays? Join Winter University on December 29th from 13:00 to 15:00 at Neuron (more detailed information will be coming soon). Here, you can craft your own mug rug using the punch-needling technique!

🧶Fiber Arts Evening @ Winter University🧶
Wrap up the year with a cozy fiber arts evening! An evening, where you can try your hand on different fiber arts, under guidance. Or if you already have experience with fiber arts, come and vibe with us while working on your own project. Join us on  the 30th of December from 20:00 on in the Luna Living Room (Luna basement)! More detailed information will be coming soon.

On the 15th of November, it is exactly one year ago that the first preparations for Stitch Fiber Arts were made!
We can look back on a very nice year, with a lot of activities and fun. Thank you for showing so much interest. Hopefully there are many more activties to come!

Of course, a celebration is in order. Join us on the 22nd of November at our BreiMiBo!

With the new college year comes a fresh start:  the 2nd organization of Stitch Fiber Arts!
With a crew of five people, we’re excited to host an activity every week!

On the 13th of March, Stitch Fiber Arts became an official culture companion! This means we belong officially under Scala.

On the 15th of November the first official meeting took place, where the beginning steps of Stitch Fiber Arts were made.  We are proud to see that so many people are interested and hope to grow in the future!
